[Greensboro, NC] — The community is invited to celebrate the new exhibition "Returning," by local artist Margaret Ritsch. A member of the Center for Visual Artists in Greensboro, Ritsch brings a rich background in strategic communication and a deep passion for painting to her work. "Returning" features a vibrant collection of figurative, landscape, and floral paintings in oil and acrylic. Influenced by artists like Gerhard Richter and Wolf Kahn, Ritsch's art uses expressive color and abstract elements to capture the essence of her subjects, from family members in her figurative works to the natural world in her landscapes. The show is an invitation to perceive the world with "fresh eyes and a sense of wonder."

Modern Magic
Maurice Hicks and Ciara Kelley are bringing their photographic magic!
The Continental Club Gallery will be hosting a photography show Friday, October 3rd, 6:00 p.m. featuring the photography of Maurice Hicks and Ciara Kelley. The juxtaposition of Hicks's personal, documentary-style work with Kelley's stylized and fantastical portraits has created a dynamic and thought-provoking show about how we create our own personal narratives.#GreensboroEvents #NCArt #PhotographyShow #ArtExhibition #MauriceHicks #CiaraKelley #FineArt #ArtCollecting #LimitedEdition #DocumentaryPhotography #FantasyArt #SupportLocalArtists"
Trina Olson
Illuminated
From Byzantine bombshells to mermaids to embattled queens, the work’s energy is distinctly feminine. Like Olson herself, these women emerge from a time rife with darkness and misogyny and crown themselves as queens of their own destiny.
